Job description

As a Legal Advisor, you will support, advise and look after the interests of clients who have a dispute with an institution, a healthcare provider or the health insurance fund in financial matters or in the context of medical damage. You will be required to analyze and synthesize the law in order to provide a simplified response to customers and warn them in the event of legal problems. 

On a day-to-day basis:

  • You analyse customer requests in order to establish a liability and damage report.

  • You offer customers solutions to the problems encountered.

  • You act as an intermediary between customers and third parties in order to participate in the implementation of these solutions.

  • You assist clients in their legal procedures.

  • You will participate in the analysis of customer feedback and make the results available to managers to participate in the continuous improvement of the various customer services.

  • You will ensure compliance with the criteria and rules issued by the supervisory bodies regarding the written complaint procedures in order to limit the overall risk of financial penalties for the company.

  • You analyze requests and participate in the decision-making process regarding waivers of litigation or the failure to recover sums unduly paid to the client in order to limit the financial impact on the company. 

  • You will ensure a meticulous monitoring of the evolution of legal texts.

Profile

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Law with a minimum of 5 years' professional experience.

  • You are bilingual in French and Dutch.

  • You are diplomatic and ethical in your work.

  • You have a sense of rigour.

  • You are endowed with a spirit of synthesis and analysis.

  • You communicate easily and are structured.

  • You are dynamic, resistant to the stress and aggressiveness that some customers may show.

  • You are flexible and autonomous.

  • You show initiative and insight.

  • You are comfortable with computer tools.
