Job description

You play a real advisory role to the Human Relations Department and actively contribute to the design, optimization and implementation of the remuneration and fringe benefits policy in order to guarantee fairness, transparency and control. You will also ensure that Partenamut's salary policy is competitive in order to attract external talent but also satisfactory to ensure employee loyalty by continuously monitoring market trends. You will have the opportunity to participate in Partenamut's future projects such as the Job Design Review and the transposition of the law on pay transparency.

On a daily basis: 

  • You will carry out benchmarks  (internal and external), participate in salary studies and analyse the results in depth to ensure internal fairness and ensure the competitiveness of remuneration in relation to the market. 

  • You determine the salary proposals made to internal and external candidates.

  • You will calculate salary increases and annual bonuses and update the salary scales applied in the company.

  • You will manage the extra-legal benefits offered to staff members as well as those available in the cafeteria plan and recommend new benefits to meet the needs of employees and respond to market trends. 

  • You coordinate the drafting of job descriptions with managers and HR BPs, challenging them on the content and ensuring that they are updated, you lead the weighting committee to ensure the weighting of functions and ensure the maintenance of the system. 

  • You will act as an advisor and decision-making support by making recommendations to managers and management. 

  • You ensure communication related to compensation and fringe benefits to employees and managers and listen to their questions.

  • You will coordinate and submit files for the reduction of withholding tax and subsidies to the relevant authorities. 

  • You actively contribute to ad hoc projects in the field of remuneration and fringe benefits, you identify and continuously implement improvements in this area and you ensure competitive intelligence.


  • You have a Master's degree in Human Resources, Management, Economics or a similar field.

  • 3-5 years of prior experience in compensation and benefits management is a must.

  • You have an in-depth knowledge of Belgian practices as well as laws and regulations relating to remuneration and fringe benefits.

  • You have strong analytical skills and an ability to interpret complex data, you are able to analyze complex situations and propose appropriate solutions.

  • You are proficient in computer tools, reporting tools and human resources management software.

  • You have a strong sense of organization and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

  • You demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as in a team.

  • You communicate clearly and concisely with the various stakeholders in the company (employees, team leaders, managers and directors) and you are not afraid to defend your opinions and points of view.
