Job description

As an experienced Data Analyst, you play a pivotal role in advancing our organization's data-driven initiatives by leveraging their proven expertise to provide actionable insights and support informed decision-making within business teams.  

Daily :

  • You support the business with their data requests, and structure findings into low maintenance and easy-to-read listings, tables or charts/dashboarding in line with the information needs of your customers and GDPR regulations. 

  • You analyze data requirements by assessing data availability, quality, comprehension at project start to determine whether data is suitable for the need and how complex it is. 

  • You support the data products owners with the data explorations

  • Through a defined collaboration model, you support business in increasing data literacy : data comprehension, best practices for dashboard creation, data story-telling and best practices in data exploration. 

  • You identify ways to increase adoption of the solutions you developed and stakeholder satisfaction. 

  • You play an important role in the future implementation of the data catalogue by validating the accuracy and usefulness of the data. You are equally expected to provide feedback on how to improve the catalog. 

  • You participate in delivery of projects and continuous improvement initiatives as part of cross functional squad.  

Profile

  • You have a  Bachelor or Master in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or Information Management.   

  • You have proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst (minimum 5 years). 

  • You have technical expertise regarding data models, database design development and data mining techniques. 

  • You have knowledge and experience with databases (SQL, etc) and reporting packages (Tableau, Power BI etc). Programming in Python is a plus.   

  • You have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and present findings, disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.  

  • You have a strong work ethic and a skillset to juggle several different information requests with ease and composure.   

  • You are fluent in French and English (verbal & written).
