A Nurse Coordinator specialized in oncology (m/f/x)
Under full-time or part-time (80%) contract for an indefinite period
What does the job entail?
As a breast clinic nurse coordinator, you will have the opportunity to put dedication and quality care into practice on a daily basis. Your role mainly includes supporting the patients and their families during their therapeutic journey.
Under the responsibility of the Manager of the Polyclinic, you guarantee the support of patients with breast cancer throughout their entire care process for optimal coverage of their pathology.
In particular, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Collaborate with the medical team and ensure contact with other actors;
- Provide patients and their families with advice, guidance and support by building a relationship of trust;
- Listening, answering questions and reformulating doctors' explanations, possibly participating in the consultation when the doctor's diagnosis is communicated;
- Explain the course of the proposed treatments and go over possible side effects and ways to reduce or remedy them;
- Accompanying patients and their loved ones in emotionally difficult situations.
As a nurse specialising in oncology, you will have to perform the following actions:
- Remove threads, irrigation, change bandages;
- Helping with lymph node punctures;
- Overall responsibility for the care pathway;

You have a Bachelor (graduate) in nursing endorsed by the Medical Commission of Brabant. You hold the legal title of nurse specialising in oncology.

You are looking for a full-time position (or at least 30.24 hours).
You have a good command of Dutch with a good knowledge of the second national language.
Thanks to your computer skills, you can guarantee an optimal follow-up of the files.
We offer:
A full-time contract (38h/week) or part-time 30h24/week for an indefinite period. The hour hour is between 8 am and 4:30 pm, on Friday until 6:30 pm.
