Job description

Our customer service plays a key role in the experience of our members and operating partners. Our team consists of 6 people and we are currently looking for a Customer Service Officer to join this team.

Your responsibilities:

  • You will assist our members by e-mail and telephone in fulfilling their legal obligations, including submitting their annual declaration. Our members are companies that place household packaging on the Belgian market and transfer the fulfilment of their legal take-back obligation to Fost Plus. 

  • You ensure correct registration of the data of the members in our systems.

  • You independently manage the general e-mail address of the organization and, if necessary, send the various questions to the appropriate department within our company.

  • You answer questions related to invoices and payments to support your colleague.

Profile

  • You have a higher education degree or at least 3 years of relevant experience in a customer service position.

  • You are fluent in both French and Dutch and you also have a sufficient command of English for both oral and written communication.

  • You have a good command of IT tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) and have an affinity with the use of a CRM (knowledge of Salesforce is a plus).

  • You communicate fluently and clearly, both verbally and in writing.

  • You are able to work both individually and in a team and with precision in stressful situations.

  • You are customer-oriented, administratively strong, meticulous and know how to set priorities.

  • After internal training, you will be familiar with the internal procedures and organisation of Fost Plus.

  4. 2nd on-site interview : "click" interview with potential future colleagues and introduction to the head of department (COO)
