Job description

As an HR Officer, you are a sparring partner and advisor for our internal employees.
You combine operational and hands-on HR expertise with an advisory and proactive attitude. You sense what employees need, dare to take positions and translate changes in legislation and organization into clear processes and policy.
IN THIS ROLE:
HR administration & employee lifecycle
Coordinating employee onboarding and offboarding
Ensuring correct and timely personnel administration
Act as the first point of contact for HR questions from employees
Confidential and professional handling of sensitive information
Payroll, benefits & fleet
Preparing and following up on payroll in collaboration with external partners
Managing and optimizing compensation & benefits (e.g. Flexible Income Plan)
Responsible for fleet management (cars, policies, follow-up)
Follow-up of insurance for employees
Advisory role & legislation
Actively advising employees on HR-related questions
Keeping up to date with social legislation and HR trends
Translating the impact of legislative changes to the organisation
Timely information and cooperation on adapted HR policy and procedures (e.g. drawing up and following up on absenteeism policy)
Projects & change
Thinking along about optimizing HR processes
Flexible handling of change and new needs within the organization
Acting as a project manager for smaller HR projects
Profile
You have (at least) a bachelor's degree in a people- or business-oriented field (Business Administration, HR, Psychology)
You have at least 5 years of experience as an HR generalist (knowledge of, among other things: administration, payroll, comp&ben, soft HR and project-based work)
You are bilingual (FR/NL) or French-speaking with a very good knowledge of Dutch
You are a strong communicator, enterprising and easily build relationships within an organization.
You can easily work independently, and also like to work in a team
You like to take on an advisory role and dare to take responsibility
You work in a structured and precise way, but never lose sight of the human aspect
You can switch quickly in a changing context
