Job description

As a Quality Officer, you will be responsible for the quality control of the declarations created by the 5000 companies - members of our organisation. This is to ensure optimal data quality for the packaging of household products placed on the Belgian market. 

Your responsibilities :

  • You ensure the quality of the database containing the types, descriptions and quantities of household packaging placed on the market

  • You are involved in the process of improving working methods and tools to ensure the quality of this data

  • Together with your colleagues from different teams, you will define which members are a priority

  • You will be the contact person between members, auditors and your internal colleagues (account managers in particular)

  • You will follow up with Fost Plus members on the corrections to be made to their data

  • You will manage and coordinate audits by auditors for Fost Plus members. And you validate their audit reports.

  • You coordinate laboratory analyses to determine the composition of packaging and related data

  • You define and manage the budget related to audits and laboratory analyses

  • You are the back-up of the person you work with

Profile

  • You have a Bachelor's degree and/or  have at least 3 years of experience in an analytical and/or administrative function

  • You speak both French and Dutch (one of the languages can be your stronger one) and have a good knowledge of English

  • You are advanced in computer tools such a Excel

  • You are passionate about numbers, keen on databases and have an eye for anomalies

  • You are solution-oriented and you like to take initiative

  • You have good communication skills and know how to work in a team

  • You dare to question the habits of the department and are a force of proposal for potential changes
