Quality Officer
Job description
As a Quality Officer, you will be responsible for the quality control of the declarations created by the 5000 companies - members of our organisation. This is to ensure optimal data quality for the packaging of household products placed on the Belgian market.
Your responsibilities :
You ensure the quality of the database containing the types, descriptions and quantities of household packaging placed on the market
You are involved in the process of improving working methods and tools to ensure the quality of this data
Together with your colleagues from different teams, you will define which members are a priority
You will be the contact person between members, auditors and your internal colleagues (account managers in particular)
You will follow up with Fost Plus members on the corrections to be made to their data
You will manage and coordinate audits by auditors for Fost Plus members. And you validate their audit reports.
You coordinate laboratory analyses to determine the composition of packaging and related data
You define and manage the budget related to audits and laboratory analyses
You are the back-up of the person you work with
Profile
You have a Bachelor's degree and/or
have at least 3 years of experience in an analytical and/or administrative function
You speak both French and Dutch (one of the languages can be your stronger one) and have a good knowledge of English
You are advanced in computer tools such a Excel
You are passionate about numbers, keen on databases and have an eye for anomalies
You are solution-oriented and you like to take initiative
You have good communication skills and know how to work in a team
You dare to question the habits of the department and are a force of proposal for potential changes
