Job description
👉 Your mission:
As an AP accountant, under the responsibility of the financial manager, you will use your expertise and knowledge to contribute to the objectives of the finance team and become a major asset to the latter.
💼 You will be responsible for:
Ensure supplier billing and payment reconciliations through appropriate controls
Interact with suppliers as part of the payment process and resolve related requests
Report on the above activities and other Accounts Payable related topics
Handle and resolve internal customer requests and questions
Depending on skills and experience: encode supplier invoices and monitor their processing

To be determined according to the skills and results obtained during the first three months
Possibility of a firm commitment depending on the above point

Profile
Bachelor's degree in accounting 🎓
Ideally already a first experience in a similar position
Fluency in French or Dutch and good knowledge of the other language
English is an asset.
In-depth knowledge of standard accounting rules and procedures, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and VAT legislation.
Experience with GL functions and the monthly/yearly close process.
Very good knowledge of excel
Strong analytical skills, high accuracy and attention to detail. 🔎
Knowledge of ERPx (Unit4) or an ERP is an asset.
