Junior AP Accountant

👉 Your mission: 
 
As an AP accountant, under the responsibility of the financial manager, you will use your expertise and knowledge to contribute to the objectives of the finance team and become a major asset to the latter. 

💼 You will be responsible for: 

• Ensure supplier billing and payment reconciliations through appropriate  controls

• Interact with suppliers as part of the payment process and resolve related requests 

• Report on the above activities and other Accounts Payable  related topics

• Handle and resolve internal customer requests and questions

• Depending on skills and experience: encode supplier invoices and monitor their processing  

🌱 Prospects for development according to skills and learning abilities:  

• To be determined according to the skills and results obtained during the first three months 

• Possibility of a firm commitment depending on the above point

• Bachelor's degree in accounting 🎓 

• Ideally already a first experience in a similar position

• Fluency in French or Dutch and good knowledge of the other language 

• English is an asset. 

• In-depth knowledge of standard accounting rules and procedures, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and VAT legislation. 

• Experience with GL functions and the monthly/yearly close process. 

• Very good knowledge of excel 

• Strong analytical skills, high accuracy and attention to detail. 🔎 

• Knowledge of ERPx (Unit4) or an ERP is an asset.
