A Management Controller (m/f/x)
Under a full-time permanent contract (38 hours/week)
As a Management Controller, you will support the decision of the Management Committee in the orientation and monitoring of the set strategy. You will actively participate in the definition of objectives, projects and establish financial plans. You will develop, in collaboration with your colleagues and the Management, the master plan for the institution's budgets, carry out periodic monitoring and anticipate results.
You will join a team of management controllers within the Finance Department.
Each management controller is the SPOC of one or more departments (administrative, logistics, nursing, paramedical, medical).
You work mainly on the Baron Lambert site in Etterbeek but may have to travel to the other sites (Joseph Bracops in Anderlecht, Molière Longchamp in Forest, Etterbeek-Ixelles in Ixelles).
YOUR FUNCTION
As a Management Controller, you will be asked to apply your skills and expertise for the following missions:
- Participate in the development of the institution's budget as well as its quarterly, half-yearly and annual monitoring
- Monitors monthly hospital activity dashboards, activity and management indicators
- Participate in or carry out financial and profitability studies of projects
- Collect information (activity, financial) for the Medical Department and the Chief Medical Officer and for the other departments, both for internal and external reporting (network, SPF, etc.)
Depending on your level of experience, you will be required to participate gradually and independently in the following missions:
- Propose or develop and implement improvements and action plans for the institution through financial or activity data analysis, while ensuring the optimal use of resources;
- Lead and advise, as a privileged partner, department heads or directors, on all aspects of the strategic and budgetary management of their department;
- Propose or improve tools (indicators, business plan, etc.) in order to manage the various departments and make the right decisions to achieve the institution's objectives;
- Intervene as a privileged interlocutor in various large-scale projects with real impacts.
YOUR PROFILE
Your education
You have a Master's degree in Economics or Management
Your experience and knowledge:
- You have good operational knowledge of management control, financial analysis, auditing;
- You are proficient in Excel (the preferred tool for this position) and more specifically the use of pivot tables and formulas;
- Experience in a similar position and/or knowledge of the hospital sector is an asset;
- You are fluent in French and have a good knowledge of the second national language.

- You can easily manage the integration of various information (financial, accounting, personnel costs, etc.) characterising the activity of a hospital;
- You are rigorous in your analyses, are attentive to figures and judge information with a critical eye;
- You are concise and clear in the presentation of your analyses;
- You manage your stress;
- You are assertive and diplomatic;
- You are able to translate numbers into words so that they are understandable to everyone;
- You have a sense of communication that allows you to establish a privileged relationship with the heads of departments in your portfolio as well as with the directors of the institution;
- You know how to demonstrate autonomy in your work while collaborating effectively within a team.

A gross monthly salary based on the IFIC scales with resumption of the seniority useful to the function:
· Min: 4268.54 € - Max: 6553.87€ (Index 2.1647)
