IRIS South Hospitals is looking for,

A nurse specialized in algology (m/f/x)

For a full-time permanent contract (38 hours/week)

What does the job consist of?

Under the responsibility of the care department, your mission as a nurse specializing in algology is to ensure the improvement of the overall care of patients with algology within our institution

In order to guarantee the quality of care, your activities are mainly based on 4 axes:

- As an Expert Nurse: You provide pain-related care, monitor and evaluate patients, and supervise/support patients and their relatives in the daily management of the disease.

- As an Expert in Algology: You work closely with a multidisciplinary team (anaesthetists, rheumatologists, physiotherapists, psychologists, etc.) to ensure comprehensive care. You are the reference expert for anaesthetists for technical procedures in the operating theatre and in consultation. You are a source of proposals, participate in the harmonization of clinical pathways, develop protocols and take part in clinical studies.

- As a Trainer: you provide continuing education and organise training activities to disseminate pain-related knowledge to the institution's nursing staff

- As a Referent: You will monitor science and participate in professional seminars in a network of peers. You will interface with suppliers for the evaluation and possible integration of new equipment.

How about we talk about you?

You hold a bachelor's degree (Graduat) or a certificate in nursing, stamped and registered by the Medical Commission of Brabant. Being in possession of the certificate in algology is an asset.

You have at least 3 years' professional experience as a nurse; Experience in a similar role is an asset.

You are geographically flexible and agree to work on our three sites: Etterbeek-Ixelles, Molière Longchamp and Joseph Bracops

You are fluent in French and have a good knowledge of the second national language.

Your computer knowledge allows you to ensure optimal follow-up of files.

You are proactive in maintaining and developing your knowledge.

Remuneration on the basis of the IFIC scales (category 16), with resumption of seniority:
