Physiotherapist with Specialization in Intensive Care and Respiratory Hospitalization Unit
Job description
To strengthen the care team at the Joseph Bracops Site, Iris Sud Hospitals is looking for:
- A motivated physiotherapist specialising in Intensive Care and Respiratory Hospitalisation Unit
As an expert in respiratory and motor rehabilitation, you will intervene in a transversal way to ensure the continuity and quality of care:
- Critical Care (IC) Expertise
- Clinical evaluation and respiratory monitoring of critically ill patients.
- Active collaboration in ventilatory weaning and airway management.
- Implementation of early mobilization to prevent complications related to prolonged bed rest.
2. Management in the Hospitalization Unit
- Follow-up of hospitalized patients with acute or chronic respiratory pathologies (COPD, lung infections, postoperative follow-up).
- Application of bronchial drainage and lung expansion techniques.
- Therapeutic education and support for the patient towards respiratory autonomy.
3. Continuity of Care
- Ensure the necessary replacements within the team.
- Active participation in the role of on-call (weekends and public holidays) to guarantee a physiotherapist presence 7 days a week.
To be eligible for this position, you must meet and agree to the following conditions:
- Education: Master's degree in Physiotherapy (Visa from FPS Public Health required).
- Specialization: Expertise or additional training in Respiratory Physiotherapy and Critical Care is an asset.
- Skills: Mastery of care protocols in an acute setting.
- Ability to work closely with medical and nursing teams.
- Responsiveness, rigor and ease in managing emergency situations.
- Having an active knowledge of the second national language is a plus.
