For the Budget and Management Control Department at the Etterbeek-Baron Lambert site located in Etterbeek,

A Management Control Manager (m/f/x)

On a full-time permanent contract

Under the responsibility of the Chief Financial Officer, you will manage a team of four management controllers. In close coordination with your Director, you will supervise the team but also participate in all the activities of the department concerning the establishment and monitoring of the institution's budget forecasts in order to provide financial information to support the Management.

 YOUR FUNCTION

More specifically, you will be required to:

- Supervise the preparation of the institution's budget and its monitoring (data collection and processing, establishment of budgets by department and by directorate).

- Participates in the optimization of the institution's budget management (cost control, improvement of revenues).

- Participate in and verify the production of the institution's monthly and quarterly dashboards, including activity reports.

- Accompany, support and supervise each team member in the performance of their tasks and professional development.

- Coordinate and lead the team's dynamics as a privileged partner to the heads of medical, paramedical and support functions, on all aspects of the financial management of their department, including the development of management tools and dashboards.

- Coordinate, within the team, the financial and profitability studies of projects (investments, extensions of activities and/or any other proposal for internal or external financing).

- Ensure payments from the institution's independent service providers.

- Optimize the processes of the service in collaboration with internal customers.

- Ensure the relay with the management control of the IRIS umbrella company.

- To contribute, on financial matters, to the project of grouping with the other Brussels public hospitals.

 

YOUR PROFILE

Your education:

- You preferably have a Master's degree in Economics or Management. A master's degree in hospital management is an asset.

Your experience and knowledge:

- You have experience in team management;

- You have very good operational knowledge of management control and good notions of accounting and invoicing;

- You have gained experience, among other things, in a matrix structure or a complex structure;

- You will bring added value through your sector knowledge (ideally from the hospital environment);

- You have a very good command of Excel and a broad knowledge of other management and reporting tools (datawarehouse, BI, etc.);

- You have a good knowledge of the second national language.

 Your skills:

- You can easily manage the integration of various information (financial, accounting, medical, personnel costs, etc.) characterizing the activity of a hospital.

- You have excellent analytical and synthesis skills and are critical of information.

- You are organized and effectively manage the priorities of a department while being able to manage emergencies.

- You know how to manage your work independently, while having a great sense of delegation and collaboration.

- You are rigorous and meet deadlines.

- You are curious and a good listener.

- You have good interpersonal skills to support management in decision-making and are able to raise awareness and motivate all types of interlocutors.

- You are internal customer oriented.

- You are open to change and are motivated by it.

Remuneration on the basis of the IFIC scales (Category 19), with resumption of seniority:

·      Min: 5113.50€ (Index 2.1647)

·      Max : 7851.22€ (Index 2.1647)
