A Dialysis Nurse (m/f/x)
Under full-time or part-time contract for an indefinite period
To strengthen our teams on the Etterbeek-Ixelles (Ixelles) and Molière Longchamp (Forest) campuses, we are looking for nurses who want to evolve in the field of dialysis.
What does the job entail?
As a dialysis nurse, you guarantee the smooth running of the hemodialysis sessions by performing medical-technical procedures:
⦁ You prepare the dialysis machine and provide the necessary medical equipment and medication.
⦁ You welcome and install the patient and check the medical parameters.
⦁ You ensure the continuous monitoring and care of patients with kidney failure, so that this process is optimal and comfortable for the patients.
In addition, you will ensure the order, general cleanliness and hygiene of the dialysis room, the beds and the seats.
Your team and your environment
Etterbeek-Ixelles: a dynamic team responsible for 15 posts. That team is currently composed of a deputy head nurse, 11 nurses and a care assistant.
Molière Longchamp: a small friendly team that is responsible for 6 posts. The team currently has 5 nurses.
In addition, 4 nephrologists guarantee continuity and quality in the Iris Hospitals South.
Full-time schedule: you will work 4 days a week between Monday and Saturday, from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm. You will also participate in the on-call watch from 4:30 pm to 6:30 am and on Sundays. These guards are performed on the Ixelles campus.
Part-time schedule: to be determined according to the desired working hours.

Your education:
⦁ Bachelor or nursing certificate, targeted and registered by the Medical Commission of Brabant.
⦁ Ideally have completed a nephrology-dialysis training.
Experience:
⦁ You already have experience in dialysis or are looking for a first or new challenge in dialysis.
⦁ Very good knowledge of French. You are able to understand the patient's needs and communicate with your colleagues.
Your skills:
⦁ Group spirit: You like to work in a team. You follow your colleagues and the doctor and give directions and instructions to the care assistants.
⦁ You offer a listening ear to the patients.
⦁ You have a good knowledge of the equipment or are motivated to learn.
