A Maintenance Service Team Leader (Area Manager) (m/f/x)

On a permanent contract, full-time

What does the job consist of?

As a sector manager, you will supervise a technical team whose mission is to ensure the good condition and functioning of the hospital's infrastructure, in compliance with safety standards and regulations in force.

Your responsibilities

·      Coaching the technical team

You will support and coordinate the work of the employees of the technical team in order to guarantee the efficiency and quality of the interventions.

As such:

o You distribute tasks among team members according to priorities.

o You inform, guide and motivate employees in the performance of their missions.

o You control the quality of the work carried out and make the necessary adjustments if necessary.

o You will participate in the sessions with the technical team.

o You organize regular meetings to monitor the progress of files and interventions.

·      Organize maintenance and repair work

You coordinate and participate in the preventive and corrective maintenance of the installations.

In this context:

o You plan and carry out, with your team, preventive checks to identify defects or maintenance needs of technical installations and infrastructure.

o You consult with the various departments of the institution in order to identify the needs for maintenance, repair or improvement of technical installations and equipment.

o You answer urgent calls and intervene yourself when the situation requires it.

o You request quotes for spare parts or new equipment, order the necessary equipment and follow up on it.

o You ensure contacts with subcontracting companies and ensure the smooth running of the work.

·      Ensure administrative follow-up and material management

o You ensure the proper administrative and technical follow-up of maintenance activities:

o You keep up to date plans, maintenance diagrams and technical files of buildings, installations and equipment.

o You manage and control the stocks of equipment and materials.

o You ensure the monitoring and management of the tools made available to the team.

o You compile and monitor project files (offers received, purchase orders, work schedule, documentation and before/after photos).

o You will write the minutes of team meetings and follow up on the actions decided.

·      Participate in technical projects

o You contribute to the various projects related to infrastructure and technical installations of buildings.

·      Participate in the on-call role

o You participate in the on-call system in order to ensure the continuity of the technical service.

·      You will work under the supervision of Driss Chakroun, Head of Technical Maintenance.

·      You supervise a team of 4 people (2 electricians, 1 plumber and 1 painter)

·      You work at the Molière Lonchamp site, Rue Marconi 142 in Forest

How about we talk about you?

Your education:

·      You have a technical bachelor's degree or a CESS with equivalent experience.

·      You have completed training in a technical field such as electrical, plumbing or HVAC

Your experience and knowledge:

·      You have a successful experience in team management and ideally in a similar position.

·      Experience in a hospital institution is a real asset.

·      You have a solid technical knowledge of plants, buildings, tools and machines.

·      You are familiar with safety rules and procedures and have practical experience in various technical areas.

·      You are comfortable with computers and know how to use the digital tools necessary for technical management.

·      You have a good knowledge of Dutch: You are able to understand the patient's needs and communicate with your colleagues

·      You demonstrate strong leadership, you are able to motivate, inspire and unite your team while guaranteeing the quality and continuity of the service,

·      You have excellent organizational and planning skills, to effectively coordinate the department's activities and priorities.

·      You are diplomatic and open-minded, managing interactions with various internal and external interlocutors.

·      You express yourself with clear and appropriate communication, both orally and in writing, in order to transmit information and unite the team.

·      You are able to work independently, while remaining involved in the follow-up of projects and daily activities.

·      You have an analytical mind and an ability to solve problems, anticipating needs and proposing appropriate solutions.

·      You have a strong sense of responsibility, guaranteeing the safety, quality and performance of the service.

·      You have a technical global vision and a skill in problem solving, allowing you to approach complex situations with efficiency and pragmatism.

What we offer you:

·      Type of contract: Permanent contract

·      Working time: 100% (38h/week)

·      Opening hours: Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. + 1st line care every 2 months.

·      Start date: end of April / beginning of May

Remuneration based on the IFIC scales with resumption of seniority:

·      Min: €3379.86 (index: 2.1647)
