A Nurse (m/f/x)

On a full-time permanent contract

What does the job consist of?

 As a nurse in the urology consultation of our polyclinic, your mission will be to coordinate and carry out technical medical examinations, in direct collaboration with the doctors, in order to allow an adequate diagnosis and/or treatment.

Under the responsibility of the Polyclinic Manager and always in close collaboration with the doctors, you will be in charge of:

 ·        Welcoming and accompanying patients;

·        Prepare and install patients for their procedure;

·        Prepare and maintain specialized equipment in compliance with hygiene rules.

By assisting the doctor and preparing the equipment, you will use your skills during the following examinations and technical procedures:

- Insertion and change of probes (Béniqué, etc.);

- Prostate biopsy (Removal of prostate tissue);

- Mitomycin injections;

- Reno-vesico-prostatic ultrasound;

- Ureteral catheter change or removal (Double J): Endoscopically;

- Urinalysis;

- Placement of Cystocath;

- Other therapeutic procedures and interventions (minimally invasive):

 You master the equipment as well as the procedures established according to the interventions. The technical procedures mentioned above no longer hold any secrets for you. You understand the importance of collaboration with physicians and the multidisciplinary team in order to participate in the continuity and quality of care. You use patience and empathy to inform and support patients and their loved ones. You know how to adapt to all situations and you know how to manage emergencies.

 You are in possession of the legal title of graduate or certified nurse, stamped and registered by the Brabant Medical Commission. You have proven professional experience.

You are looking for a full-time job (38 hours/week)

You are fluent in French and have a good knowledge of the second national language.

Your computer knowledge allows you to ensure optimal follow-up of files.
