Job description

The fight against cancer is waged with state-of-the-art, quality care: join us and make a difference! 💪

A key reference centre in Europe and a leader in French-speaking Belgium, the King Albert II Institute of the Saint-Luc University Clinics treats all types of adult and childhood cancer. 🏥

As a nurse for the Pediatric  Hematology and Oncology Unit (UHOP), you will join a committed team of about thirty people (head nurse, nurses, paediatric nurses,  administrative nurses and logistical assistants) who dedicate their daily lives to the follow-up and support of patients aged 0 to 18 years old and hospitalized for various oncological pathologies (leukemia, bone tumors, sickle cell anemia, immune deficiencies and other onco-haematological pathologies, etc.).

At UHOP, we do not only treat a disease, but children, adolescents and their families, in a global way. Every day, we do everything we can to offer them expert, human and multidisciplinary care, in an environment designed for their well-being.

At UHOP, you will develop high-level technical expertise (chemotherapy, transfusions, Port-à-Cath, PICC line, MEOPA,...) while building a privileged relationship with children and their loved ones throughout their care journey.

You will evolve in a stimulating environment where care goes far beyond care: a real multidisciplinary follow-up (oncologists, surgeons, psychologists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, dieticians, facilitators, etc.), and premises entirely designed for children (Escale School on site, relaxation areas, etc.) contribute every day to improving the experience of young patients. ❤️

Are you calling for adventure?

Join our onco-hematology teams and spread hope in our new building inaugurated in September 2025! ✨
