Smart’s IT Services Department is organised around three complementary divisions:
the product division
the development division
the infrastructure division
As part of our drive to strengthen the development division, we are looking for a Scrum Master with an IT background to join the development team and support the development and product divisions in their agile practices, in support of the IT Services Department’s objectives.
With their understanding of technical issues, they will facilitate exchanges between the development teams (21 developers), product teams (7 employees) and other departments, keeping them informed of the progress of current developments and ensuring that all projects remain aligned.
Job description
To guarantee the operational effectiveness of the agile teams by putting in place a structured framework that fosters continuous improvement, quality and collaboration between the IT Services Department and the business teams.
Leading and optimising the Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, dailies, reviews and retrospectives, ensuring they are effective and comply with Scrum practices
Supporting teams in applying the agile framework, encouraging self-organisation, collaboration and continuous improvement
Working with the product team and the dev & product manager to ensure that the backlog is clear, prioritised and understood by everyone
Working closely with all the IT teams — developers, testers, analysts and infrastructure teams — to optimise and streamline the delivery process
Optimising, maintaining and developing JIRA Software and JIRA Service Management by adapting projects, workflows, automation and forms to make the teams’ day-to-day work easier
Ensuring compliance with the methodological framework while adapting it to the context ;
Optimising the predictability of delivery by identifying and removing obstacles, monitoring performance and facilitating retrospectives that drive the team forward
Profile
At least 5 years as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, with expertise in team facilitation and coaching;
An IT background is an undeniable asset;
Proven experience in Scrum and other Agile methodologies;
Experience in coaching development teams;
Knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban and SAFe) and collaborative tools (knowledge of Jira is an asset);
Scrum Alliance CSM® or A-CSM® certification required, or equivalent certification;
Very good knowledge of French;
You have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working as part of a team, motivating your colleagues with enthusiasm;
Ability to manage change, structure processes and promote continuous improvement;
Excellent communication and teaching skills, including active listening, empathy and the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms;
Knowledge of mediation and conflict resolution techniques;
Focused on solutions, results and delivery, capable of transforming issues into concrete actions.
