Job description
As a Digital Product Owner, you will manage the vision, roadmap and delivery of digital products related to the Customer Data Platform (CDP) and communication channels (email, SMS, push, web, etc.).
Your main objective will be to manage the delivery of the new CDP and to guarantee a consolidated 360° customer vision that is accessible and usable by the Marketing teams.
You play a key role as an interface between the Marketing, CRM, Marketing Intelligence, Data and IT teams in order to maximize the business value of the solutions implemented, in an Agile/Scrum approach.
You actively contribute to the improvement of customer knowledge, the personalization of journeys and the performance of marketing campaigns.
👉 Your day-to-day responsibilities:
Product Ownership & Delivery
You define and carry the product vision on the CDP and Communication Channels perimeters.
You build, maintain and prioritize the Product Backlog (roadmap, user stories, acceptance criteria).
You manage the end-to-end delivery, from the scoping phase to the deployment of the new CDP.
You prioritize topics according to business value, customer impact and technical feasibility.
You lead and actively participate in Agile/Scrum rituals (sprint planning, refinements, reviews, retrospectives).
You guarantee the quality of the deliverables and their adequacy with business needs.
Data, Tracking & Marketing Enablement
You will manage data and marketing use cases (segmentation, personalization, multichannel activation).
You will ensure the implementation and monitoring of behavioral data collection (tracking), by guiding the Marketing, Marketing Intelligence and Data Warehouse teams, in order to guarantee the quality and completeness of the data feeding the CDP.
You will work closely with the Data teams to ensure the ingestion, structuring and activation of customer data in the CDP.
You will ensure the quality, compliance and governance of customer data in the CDP, in collaboration with the Data and Security teams.
You translate marketing and CRM needs into concrete product features.
You set up performance indicators and analyze behavioral data in order to optimize customer journeys and improve the performance of marketing campaigns.
You contribute to the continuous improvement of customer knowledge and activation performance.
Stakeholder Management
You are the main interface between Marketing, CRM/MCI, Data, IT, Security and external partners.
You will lead scoping, discovery and prioritization workshops with stakeholders.
You will manage the service providers and publishers of CDP solutions / communication tools.
You will ensure regular reporting on progress, risks, roadmap and results.
Profile
Your profile as a Digital Product Owner :
You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role (Digital Product Owner, PO Data/CRM, PO Marketing Tech,...).
You have a solid expertise in data marketing / CRM / CDP and significant experience in complex digital environments, ideally around CDP, CRM and data marketing.
You have an in-depth understanding of data architectures (flows , APIs, tracking, consent – GDPR is a plus).
You master digital communication channels (email, marketing automation, push, SMS, web personalization, etc.).
You have a very good knowledge of Agile / Scrum methods with field practice.
You are able to work in both French and English (written and oral). Knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
You have a strong business and customer orientation and know how to transform business needs into value-added solutions.
You have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and are comfortable in popularizing technical subjects.
You demonstrate an analytical mind and adopt a data-driven approach to support decision-making.
You are autonomous, proactive and have an excellent sense of priorities in a dynamic environment.
You will easily evolve in a cross-functional and multi-stakeholder context, demonstrating assertiveness, transparency and establishing a climate of trust.
You are recognized for your team spirit and your team player posture.
Other popular assets:
You have experience with a Customer Data Platform (Segment, Tealium, mParticle, Salesforce CDP, Adobe RTCDP...).
You have experience in marketing automation (Salesforce, Adobe, Braze, HubSpot, etc.).
You are certified Agile / Scrum.
You have a UX sensibility and a good understanding of customer journeys.
