Technical Manager

Mundo-Lab manages eco-renovated and eco-managed office and meeting rooms that bring together associations, NGOs and social enterprises active in the field of sustainable development and social change under one roof. 🌱

The aim of the Mundo centres is to promote synergies and strengthen the visibility of the associations based there, which benefit from reasonable rents, efficient infrastructure and professional services. The company currently has 6 centres in operation: 3 in Brussels, 1 in Louvain-la-Neuve, 1 in Namur and 1 in Antwerp. The team has 25 employees.

 👉 The position

 You will report to the Technical Director and in line with the values of Mundo-Lab you will be responsible for the following tasks, for the Mundo Matongé (3600m²), Mundo Trône (3200m²), Mundo Madou (5300m²) in Brussels, Mundo LLN in Louvain-la-Neuve (2000m²), Mundo Namur (3000m²) in Namur and Mundo Antwerp (2000m²) in Antwerp.

• You are responsible for the day-to-day operation of the technical installations, including :

  • HVAC installations

  • Electrical installations

  • Sanitation

  • Access control, fire-fighting and burglary protection facilities

• You will contribute to the proper execution of major renovation/construction projects in support of the project leader.

• You are responsible for the proper execution of small renovation projects

• You are responsible for keeping the technical documentation up-to-date

• You are responsible for your budget

• You are responsible for communicating your activities and their impact on our tenants to your colleagues

• You propose technical improvements to increase customer satisfaction and/or reduce our environmental impact and/or reduce our costs.

⭐ Expected profile

• You have a master's degree in engineering in a field related to construction techniques or experience to justify your skills

• You have the necessary communication skills with both tenants and external companies

• You know how to make decisions in all circumstances and communicate clearly about them

• You have the meaning of:

  • Customer focus

  • Initiative and autonomy

  • Team spirit

• You're proficient in Microsoft tools. 💻

• You have knowledge of technical management tools (BMS, CMMS,...)

• You have a diploma in prevention counseling is a plus

 📣 Working languages :

• French or Dutch: Very good written and oral communication

• 2nd national language and English : Good oral communication.
