Quality Expert

Fost Plus works in close collaboration with all stakeholders: companies, federations, public authorities, waste management intermunicipal companies, collection, sorting and recycling partners, and citizens.

As a Quality Expert, you reinforce our Quality team and ensure the reliability of the data that forms the basis of this entire system. 

Responsibilities: 

• You are responsible for Fost Plus's ISO 9001 certification, internal audits (planning and execution), and the follow-up of external certification audits. 

• You are responsible for coordinating and managing audits of recyclers who take back the materials made available by Fost Plus. These audit reports are intended to be shared with the competent authorities, namely EPRiBEL 

• You are responsible for quality analyses of collected glass and controls on the service performed by glass collection operators via the glass bank network in Belgium 

• You are responsible for the Mobile Inspector application (a tool for monitoring voluntary drop-off sites) made available to subcontractors in charge of monitoring the quality of the glass bank network, and more broadly to intermunicipal companies and their partners active in monitoring voluntary drop-off points.  

• You are responsible for the administrative follow-up of a certain number of additional flows (household hazardous waste), metals, etc. 

• You define and manage the budget related to audits and laboratory analyses. 

• You work with sensitive and competitive data from companies that are mutually competing, and therefore strictly ensure confidentiality. 

• You hold a Master's degree and/or have at least 3 years of experience in an analytical and/or administrative function. 

• Experience with ISO 9001 is required. 

• You demonstrate high administrative rigor and have an eye for detail and anomalies. 

• You understand the importance of discretion and confidentiality in a competitive environment. 

• You have a strong command of French or Dutch, and a good knowledge of the other language. You also speak English fluently. 

• You have advanced mastery of IT tools such as Excel. 

• You are solution-oriented and like to take initiatives. 

• You have strong communication skills and know how to work in a team. 

• You dare to question the department's habits and are a driving force for proposals for improvements.
