Project Manager

As Belgians, we are good at sorting household packaging such as paper, glass and PMD. This even places us among the European frontrunners. However, there is still a lot of potential when it comes to out-of-home.

With our Out-of-Home Program, we want to change that. We organize and enhance the collection and sorting of PMD in places where people gather: from events, amusement parks and sports clubs to businesses, shopping streets, parks and city centers.

To further fulfill our ambitions, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager Out-of-Home who wants to make a difference.

IN THIS ROLE:

As a Project Manager, you are given a high degree of autonomy and responsibility. You take charge of projects from A to Z and ensure that concepts grow into concrete results.

You will work on projects stretching from the coast to the Ardennes, in Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia. In doing so, you will come into contact with a wide variety of organizations, companies, governments and other stakeholders.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage various projects and ensure they are delivered successfully and on time.

• Take charge of your projects from A to Z.

• Translate a problem statement or opportunity into a concrete, supported project and a well-founded business case.

• Actively build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and understand their needs, expectations and interests.

• Monitor the scope, planning, budgets, risks and quality of your projects.

• Handle internal and external communication regarding the progress and results of your projects.

• Proactively adjust when circumstances change, identify risks and bottlenecks, and work towards solutions.

• Increase project efficiency by exploring alternative solutions and implementing improvements.

• Apply our PMO methodology and ensure clear documentation, reporting and follow-up.

• Help shape the further development of the Out-of-Home Program and eventually be willing to take on a more coordinating role.

You are someone who does not give up easily. When you have a goal in mind, you keep looking for solutions and persevere until the desired result is achieved. Additionally:

• You hold a master's degree or have equivalent experience.

• You have at least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a complex environment with various internal and external stakeholders.

• You combine independence with a strong team spirit.

• You are able to distinguish between main issues and side issues and bring structure to complex problems.

• You are hands-on, problem-solving, and result-oriented.

• You possess strong analytical and organizational skills.

• You are organizationally sensitive and quickly find your way within an organization.

• You are proactive, flexible, and customer-oriented.

• You have strong communication skills and draw energy from establishing and maintaining contacts.

• You can easily adapt in a changing context.

• You speak Dutch and French fluently, and can express yourself in English.

• You are willing to travel on-site regularly depending on your projects.
