Cardiovascular Physiotherapist

Do you want to develop your expertise in cardiovascular physiotherapy and support patients at different times in their care pathway?

The Cliniques universitaires Saint-Luc is looking for a full-time physiotherapist (100%) who is specialised in or interested in cardiovascular care, to join their physiotherapy department.

Your mission

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide physiotherapeutic care for patients with cardiovascular pathologies, in hospitalization as well as in outpatient cardiac rehabilitation.

Your activity will lead you to intervene in the various cardiovascular units of the Clinics and, when necessary, with other hospitalized patients with cardio-respiratory physiotherapy needs.

In concrete terms, you will be required to:

• Carry out physiotherapy assessments and care adapted to the patient's clinical condition;
• Participate in outpatient cardiac rehabilitation and support patients in their recovery and return to autonomy;
• Adapt your care to the clinical evolution and priorities of the patient;
• Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses and other professionals involved in the care pathway;
• Ensure a clear and rigorous transmission of information in the electronic patient file;
• Participate in interdisciplinary care, within the different patient pathways;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality of care and the development of clinical practices;
• Participate in the supervision of interns when necessary.
• You will work in a university environment, conducive to the development of your skills, to exchanges between professionals and to the updating of practices according to good practice recommendations.

You hold:

• A Master's degree in physiotherapy and rehabilitation;
• The approval of the FPS Public Health;
• INAMI accreditation.
• A particular skill in cardio-respiratory physiotherapy is an asset.
• Experience in cardiology is sought, as well as knowledge of the basic principles of cardiac rehabilitation.
