Registered Nurse for the Neurology, Epileptology and Stroke Unit (M/F/X)

By joining us, you will become part of a dynamic department providing three types of care where expertise and collaboration are at the heart of our daily work:

🩺 Stroke Unit 

Six mid-care beds are dedicated to acute strokes (ischemic or hemorrhagic), offering continuous 24/7 monitoring. Through rigorous protocols, notably performing thrombolysis and post-thrombectomy follow-up, we anticipate and manage risks and complications to ensure optimal care and recovery.

🧠 Acute Neurology 

Diagnosis and care for various pathologies such as Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, cognitive disorders, or meningitis. Our goal? To provide a rapid and effective response to our patients' needs.

⚡ Refractory Epilepsy Center 

Specific care for children and adults with refractory epilepsy. Two rooms are dedicated to care with 24/7 video surveillance and continuous EEG, for short hospital stays and multidisciplinary care planning. 

Our nursing team performs various specific care techniques (tracheostomy, catheterizations, central lines, specialized dressings, etc.) to meet the needs of neurology patients. 🎯 

Collaborating with our medical and paramedical teams as well as support services allows us to guarantee integrated and personalized care. 🤝🏻

📚 Qualifications and required experience 

• You hold a bachelor's or certified nursing degree, or an equivalent recognized by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
• You have a flawless command of French (B2 level).
