Operating Room Nurse - various sectors (M/W/X)
Job description
* We are currently looking for operating room nurses for the GUP, Visceral and Head & Neck sectors *
In the operating room, every action counts. And every action is you.
Here, no routine: 28 theatres, 5 sectors (cardiothoracic, head and neck, digestive, orthopedic and gyn-uro-plastic) and more than 21,000 procedures per year. Needless to say, you won't have time to get bored.
As a nurse, you will be at the heart of a true technological hive, where expertise meets precision.
Depending on your role, you will be able to:
- Prepare the ground: check the equipment, anticipate the surgical team's needs and ensure everything is ready when the clock starts.
- Ensure coordination: one eye on the surgical field, the other on patient safety, with the vigilance only an operating room nurse understands.
- Collaborate seamlessly with surgeons, anesthetists, technicians and fellow nurses — true teamwork with no room for improvisation.
- Participate in innovations: surgical robot, minimally invasive techniques, new procedures… here, technology is not just watched, it is used.
In short, you will be part of a fast-paced yet controlled universe.
And above all, you will be part of the beating heart of the Cliniques universitaires Saint-Luc.
