Job description
🧪 Your role in the nuclear medicine department
As a medical imaging technologist or nurse, you welcome and accompany each patient throughout their examination, ensuring their safety, comfort and high-quality care.
🤝 Patient support and quality of care
- You check the patient's identity and clearly explain the course of the examination to reassure them and ensure optimal conditions.
- You collect all relevant information (contraindications, hemodynamic parameters, allergies, anxiety, etc.) to ensure a consistent, safe and reliable examination.
- You ensure continuity of care throughout the care.
- You assist the doctor during interventional techniques: preparation of equipment, assistance with implementation, monitoring.
- You adopt a practice aligned with the values of the institution and the standards of a university center.
🏥 Technical skills and exam accuracy
- You install and position the patient precisely, in collaboration with the teams in charge.
- You will carry out the care necessary for the smooth running of the examination: IV infusions, catheterizations, enemas, etc.
- You adjust and handle the imaging devices properly and safely.
- You strictly apply the rules of radiation protection, to protect the patient as well as the professionals.
- You will participate in the development of new examination and treatment techniques.
- You carry out specific examinations such as imaging of surgical specimens or X-rays at the patient's bedside.
🗂️ Administrative and logistical tasks
- You enter the data necessary for the invoicing of the exams.
- You ensure that your gym is supplied with equipment and pharmaceutical products.
- You maintain a clean, organized workspace that complies with the requirements of the department.
