Job description
As a clinical psychologist, you are responsible for the following duties:
Psychological support for hospitalized patients and their families
- Collection and analysis of needs and requests
- Psychological evaluation
- Individual and family interviews
- Contribution to various psychological team projects
Networking - Design and facilitation of therapeutic and support groups
Collaboration with teams
- Collaboration with medical and paramedical teams
- Contribution to multidisciplinary reflection on the clinical situation of a patient or group of patients
- Participation in the weekly multidisciplinary meeting
- Enhancing understanding of the patient's psychological functioning and family dynamics
- Supporting teams and sharing expertise
Profile
- Master's degree in Psychological Sciences with a clinical orientation
- Additional training in psychotherapy preferred
- Good command of English and Dutch
- Willingness to work in a team
- Professional experience in conducting clinical interviews
- Interest in the medical world and severe pathologies, along with a desire to acquire medical knowledge related to the sector
- Adaptability and flexibility
- Ability to cope with difficult situations, severe illness, and death
