A Nursing Assistant (m/f)

On a fixed-term contract, part-time (80%)

What does the job consist of?

Your mission will be to welcome, prepare and monitor patients whose state of health requires surgery from various disciplines.

As a nursing assistant, under the responsibility of the nursing team, you will be required to:

· Welcoming patients

· Ensure the follow-up of patients in accordance with the list of authorized acts of nursing assistants

· Carry out logistical tasks (ordering equipment, cleaning medical and nursing equipment, tidying up, etc.)

· Take charge of administrative activities related to admission and follow-up

· Ensuring quality care with respect for each patient

· Participate in the psychosocial support of patients and their families

· Working closely with nurses

How about we talk about you?

Your training:

· You hold a diploma of Nursing Assistant stamped and registered by the Brabant Medical Commission

· You have completed the 23 delegated acts training (150 hours)

Your experience and knowledge:

· Professional experience in hospitalization is required

· A first experience in a surgical department is a plus.

· You have a good knowledge of Dutch: You are able to understand the patient's needs and communicate with your colleagues.

· Your computer knowledge allows you to ensure optimal follow-up of files.

· Sense of welcome, respect and diplomacy: You greet patients with kindness and professionalism, adopt a respectful and reassuring attitude, and demonstrate diplomacy in your interactions with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team.

· Rigour, precision and efficiency in the execution of tasks: You carry out care, technical acts, maintenance tasks and administrative follow-up methodically, precisely and quickly, while respecting health and safety protocols and standards.

· Discretion, integrity and respect for confidentiality: You strictly respect professional secrecy and the confidentiality of patient information, demonstrate ethics and reliability in the maintenance and sharing of information in the patient file.
