Every day, we apply our skills to demanding care pathways in an environment where technical expertise and patient support go hand in hand. 🧸💉

By joining our team, you will dive into a dynamic environment where we provide varied and specialized care:

Pediatric Liver Transplantation Center and Gastroenterology:

The pediatric liver transplantation center is internationally recognized for its expertise. As the only French-speaking center in Belgium to perform living-donor liver transplants on pediatric patients, it ensures comprehensive pre- and post-transplant follow-up, representing the major part of the department's activity. We also provide care for patients with inflammatory bowel disease, food allergies, and pancreatic conditions. We additionally handle surgeries such as appendectomies, inguinal hernias, etc.

Polysomnography:

We care for patients admitted for day hospitalization for sleep studies.

This is a service where multidisciplinary collaboration is at the heart of our daily work! 🤝 Thanks to this synergy, our teams guarantee integrated and personalized care, working hand in hand to offer the best to our young patients and their families.

🔍 As an assistant head nurse, you assist the head nurse with the following duties:

  • organizing, coordinating, and ensuring the continuity of care provided in your unit in partnership with the head physician, the responsible physician, and the various paramedical contributors, in compliance with the Nursing Department's policy and care standards;
  • monitoring and evaluating activities as part of a continuous quality improvement process;
  • managing and developing staff;
  • welcoming, onboarding, and mentoring new staff and nursing students;
  • maintaining collaborative relationships within your sector of activity and with other care units;
  • promoting communication between the unit and all supporting services (pharmacy, sterilization, supply store, admissions, etc.) to ensure the best possible patient service;
  • identifying, analyzing, and generating staff training needs and communicating them directly to your supervisor and the training manager;
  • ensuring the proper use and maintenance of equipment, devices, and premises.

Joining our team is not just being part of a group; it is becoming a key player in a continuous improvement process to offer the best to our patients. So, are you ready to take on the challenge with us? 💪✨
