Job description

The sales representative is responsible for developing turnover by prospecting, monitoring and retaining customers.
He/she acts as the main interlocutor between the customer and the company, while integrating a technical understanding of products and processes in order to propose adapted and realistic solutions.
Its objective is to ensure customer satisfaction, contribute to commercial growth and promote the company's know-how.

👉 Key Responsibilities

  • Actively prospect for new customers and potential markets.

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers.

  • Identify customer needs and offer them adapted commercial solutions.

  • Translate customer needs into clear technical requests for internal teams.

  • Write offers and quotes in collaboration with the production and/or technical sales representative.

  • Negotiate commercial terms and close sales.

  • Ensure regular follow-up of orders, deliveries and invoicing.

  • Collaborate with internal departments (production, logistics, quality, planning) to ensure feasibility and customer satisfaction.

  • Participate in the definition of the commercial strategy and promotional actions (trade shows, visits, events).

  • Carry out regular reporting on commercial activities and monitoring of objectives.

Profile

Commercial:

  • Strong prospecting, negotiation and closing skills.

  • Ability to develop long-lasting relationships with customers.

  • Results orientation and sense of service.

Technical:

  • Understanding of the company's production processes or products.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and to popularize technical aspects to customers.

  • Proficiency in computer tools (Excel, Outlook, Multipress, Mécalux, etc.).

Behavioral:

  • Spirit of initiative, autonomy and rigor.

  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork.

  • Taste for the field, dynamism and perseverance.
