Carbon expert - Team Lead
Job description
The Lead – Carbon Expert Team combines technical carbon expertise with an operational manager role.
Like the other Carbon Experts on the team, he/she manages customer projects from start to finish. At the same time, he/she supervises the team, structures the internal organization and ensures alignment with Tapio's strategic priorities.
This role is key to ensuring impeccable project execution, scalable quality of service, and collective performance (objectives, OKRs and financial results).
1) "Carbon Expert" responsibilities
The Lead Team actively contributes to the delivery of carbon services to customers:
Carry out carbon assessments and support reduction strategies (GHG Protocol, Carbon Footprint®, SBTi, etc.).
Manage customer relations on a daily basis and lead meetings, workshops and workshops.
Guarantee data quality and methodological robustness.
Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Partners teams to support onboarding, presales, renewals, and customer growth.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Tapio platform through testing, feedback and process optimization.
2) Team Lead responsibilities (management and steering of the team)
A. Organization and coordination
Organize, prepare and facilitate team meetings.
Ensure a balanced allocation of client and internal projects.
Track timesheets and analyze the distribution of time between projects.
Be the main point of contact with the other teams (Sales, Product, Marketing, Tech) and ensure good communication and coordination with these different departments.
B. OKR management and performance
Define, monitor and challenge OKRs (Objectives & Key Results) with the team.
Track financial objectives (profitability, capacity, allocation, etc.).
Ensure that the team consistently achieves its goals and commitments.
C. Process optimization and efficiency
Design, improve and deploy internal processes to strengthen operational efficiency (Drive, Notion, Odoo, dashboards, etc.).
Structure the coordination of work within the team (e.g. Service Sharing Experience).
Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing within the partner community (e.g. MeetASolution).
D. Talent Development and Team Culture
Organize regular one-to-ones to support well-being, motivation and individual development.
Identify skills needs and ensure the team's skills development, according to Tapio priorities and a defined budget.
Actively participate in the recruitment of new experts.
Contribute to salary discussions and career development plans, in collaboration with the HR team.
Profile
You have a solid experience in carbon accounting and in supporting emission reduction strategies (GHG Protocol, Carbon Footprint®, SBTi or equivalent).
You want a high-impact role: you like to deliver concrete projects, with high standards on methodological quality and data.
You are comfortable in a hybrid delivery + leadership role, and you want to stay involved in projects while growing a team.
You already have experience in coordination/management, you know how to structure work and set up processes and tools to make the team more efficient.
You speak French, English and Dutch
You know how to work hand in hand with the management while keeping a real business vision.
