Supply Chain Manager
Job description
Bambaw is recruiting a Supply Chain Manager to manage our end-to-end supply chain, from Asian and European sourcing through European and North American hubs to final delivery. If you think in flow, lead with data, and build teams that work without you, we'd love to hear from you.
🌍 Hybrid – Brussels, Belgium
⏰ Full-time | Mon–Fri | 9:00–18:00 CET (Brussels)
About the Company :
Bambaw is a Belgian sustainable lifestyle brand that builds sustainable alternatives to everyday products, from safety razors to home textiles. We are part of Brolutions, a group that also includes Oravix and Arista Ayurveda. Our product range covers more than 800 active SKUs mainly from Asia, stored via 3PL partners in Belgium, the UK, Canada and the USA, and sold on Amazon (EU, UK, US, CA), our own website and wholesale partners. We are growing fast and need someone to take on the whole picture.
About the position :
We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to take full responsibility for our supply chain, from purchasing and supplier management through logistics and inventory planning, to final delivery across all channels. You will lead a team of three people (Purchasing Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator, Supply Chain Operator) and report directly to the Co-CEO/COO. Your mandate is to ensure that products reach customers reliably and cost-effectively, while building a team and autonomous systems.
Key responsibilities :
End-to-end ownership in the supply chain
Have a macro view of the complete supply chain flow across continents: Asia (purchasing and production), Europe (3PL hub and local warehouses), and North America (hub distribution and FBA)
Understand and optimize costs, turnaround times, and bottlenecks at every stage of the flow
Maintain product availability across all channels with below-target inventory
Cost optimization
Establish an accurate cost base for freight, warehousing, tasks, and handling
Identify and implement savings levers to achieve measurable cost reduction
Make data-driven decisions about freight routes, supplier terms, and consolidation
Team leadership
Lead, coach and develop a team of three direct reports
Set clear expectations, track KPIs weekly, and hold the team accountable
Build enough structure and autonomy for founders to opt out of day-to-day supply chain operations
Vendor Management and Risk Mitigation
Map and evaluate the entire supplier base: concentration risk, delivery performance, criticality
Develop key supplier relationships beyond transactional orders
Develop and execute mitigation plans for single points of failure (dual sourcing, buffer strategies, supplier development)
New Product Introduction (Cross-Functional)
Manage the supply chain workflow for new product launches: onboarding new suppliers, placing products in the system, ensuring compliance (risk cards, certifications), coordinating first shipments
Work closely with the Product team to integrate supply chain requirements early in the development process
Processes and systems
Document and standardize supply chain processes with clear standard operating procedures
Build and maintain a real-time dashboard for key supply chain KPIs
Collaborate with our in-house IT team to enhance and develop custom tools that support supply chain workflows
Profile
About you :
5-8 years of experience in supply chain or operations, including at least 2 years managing a team
You think end-to-end (from Asia to Europe and North America) and understand how a decision at a given point in time impacts cost, turnaround time, or downstream risk
You make decisions based on data, not intuition, whether it's on freight routes, supplier choices or inventory allocation
You set clear expectations, follow up regularly, and hold people to account constructively
You build processes and document them so that they outlive you. We leave the systems better than the found ones
Ideally, you've worked in a consumer goods or e-commerce company between €20 million and €75 million: structured enough that you've seen good systems, practical enough to build yourself
Language of work (language of work). French at B1+ level for the Brussels office and Belgian stakeholders
Valid work permit in the EU
It's nice to have :
Experience with Amazon FBA/AWD logistics and e-commerce distribution management
Experience with Asian sourcing and Chinese suppliers
Knowledge of EU and US customs, tariffs and trade compliance
Experience with Zoho or similar intermediary ERP systems
Experience in creating supplier scorecards or risk frameworks
Why apply?
Why join Bambaw:
