Job description
Happy Hours Market fights against food waste by repurposing unsold food from Belgian retail. Through our app and logistics network, we provide consumers and professionals with access to discounted products while reducing environmental impact.
In a context of strong growth 📈, we are looking for an entrepreneurial, autonomous and highly operational profile to support the commercial development of Happy Hours Market and actively participate in the growth of our supply and B2B activity.
🎯 Your missions
👉 Develop and increase the supply of unsold products
👉 Create and maintain strong relationships with partners
👉 Developing Happy Hours Market's B2B channel
👉 Manage and optimize the commercial performance of your supplier portfolio
1️⃣ Supplier development
Prospecting and onboarding new suppliers of unsold products
Identify sourcing opportunities (retail, wholesalers, brands, manufacturers)
Develop long-term partnerships with suppliers
Negotiate commercial terms with partners
Adapt and improve the HHM value proposition according to the needs identified by the partners
2️⃣ Key Account & Partner Tracking
Follow up with partners once onboarded
Track partner sales and product performance
Identify opportunities for improvement:
Assortment
Pricing
Flow
volumes
Product Visibility
Collaborate with:
Logistics teams
E-commerce teams
Marketing teams
Operations
In order to ensure smooth execution and a good partner experience.
3️⃣ B2B development
Participate in the development of the B2B channel for the sale of large volumes of products
Prospecting professional customers:
Horeca
Shops
Destockers
Dealers
Send commercial offers and ensure follow-ups
Track B2B sales and develop long-term relationships with some key customers
4️⃣ Commercial analysis & performance management
Analyze sales, product performance, and market trends
Directing prospecting and supply opportunities according to the performance observed
Track sales KPIs:
New partners
Onboarded volumes
sell-through
Revenue generated
B2B performance
Structure a clear and rigorous commercial follow-up
5️⃣ Tools, CRM & Process Optimization
Optimize the use of current sales and CRM tools
Structure the sales pipeline and opportunity tracking
Use AI tools to improve:
Prospecting
Commercial follow-up
Analysis
Automating certain tasks
Participate in the continuous improvement of sales processes
Profile
3 to 7 years of experience in sales, business development or key account management
Operational, autonomous and entrepreneurial profile
Strong prospecting and negotiation skills
Comfortable in creating long-term relationships with partners
Strong business and commercial analysis skills
Structured, results-oriented and empathetic
Comfortable with digital tools:
CRM
Excel / Google Sheets
AI tools
Analysis tools
Interest in retail, food, e-commerce or the circular economy
👉 Dutch and/or English is a significant asset
