Job description

🏨 Do you want to put your expertise at the service of a state-of-the-art hospital environment and contribute directly to the safety of workers, patients and infrastructure? 

As a CP1, you will be the technical referent for three key areas:

🧪 Chemical Hazards & CMR Agents

  • Chemical risk assessment and CMR management
  • Regulatory watch on hazardous chemicals
  • Management and reliability of the chemical inventory
  • Technical Advice on New Product Introduction
  • Mapping of storage locations
  • Close collaboration with the relevant hospital departments and the SEPPT


🔥 Fire risks

  • Fire risk analyses of units and spaces
  • Study of technical and work-related scenarios
  • Coordination with the Technical Department (detection, compartmentalization, smoke extraction, HVAC)
  • Interface with SIAMU for external coordination


👷 Collective protective equipment (CPE)

  • Inventory, mapping and institutional EPC repository
  • Definition of performance criteria and control procedures
  • Acquisition, Installation and Maintenance Notices
  • Link between EPC, chemical hazards and fire
  • You will also contribute to the SIPPT's cross-cutting missions: accident analyses, prevention plans, annual report, regulatory monitoring.

Profile

🎓 Required training 

  • Hold a university-level higher education bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree (civil/industrial engineering, chemistry, applied sciences, etc.)
  • CP Level 1 Certification (Core Module + Specialization)
  • Assets: experience in a hospital or industrial environment, fire training, technical English

🔧 Technical skills

  • Control of chemical risks and the REACH/CLP regulation
    Solid knowledge of fire risk and infrastructure techniques
  • Mastery of Belgian regulations on well-being at work

  • Ability to work in a multi-technical team and in pairs
  • Teaching qualities: ability to train and raise awareness among field teams
  • Assertiveness and ability to dialogue with a variety of interlocutors: management, hierarchical line, technical partners and colleagues
