IT Applications Deputy Head of Service (M/W/X)

As the IT Applications Deputy Head of Service, you play a key role in the operational management of the department and actively contribute to the quality of the application solutions provided to the institution's teams.

Acting as a true relay for the Head of Service, you combine operational expertise, project coordination, and local management. You ensure business continuity, support teams in their daily missions, and participate in the continuous improvement of the department's practices.

In this capacity, you will be expected to:

• drive and coordinate operational activities within your scope;
• guarantee service quality, compliance with commitments, and service continuity;
• identify operational risks and propose appropriate corrective actions;
• contribute to the prioritization of requests and necessary decisions;
• supervise the teams involved in the application projects for which you are responsible;
• organize work, distribute tasks, and monitor project progress;
• ensure compliance with deadlines, objectives, budgets, and current methodologies;
• lead teams, foster their cohesion, and support their engagement;
• support the development of staff members and contribute to upskilling;
• act as the privileged point of contact for departments and business services;
• participate in technological watch and propose avenues for improving processes, tools, and department organization.

In the absence of the Head of Service, you ensure operational handover and contribute to the continuity of activity management.

You are an IT professional capable of combining operational vision, collective mindset, and local leadership.

Ideally, you have:

• higher education in IT;
• significant experience in application management, IT project management, or technical team coordination;
• a good understanding of complex application environments and information systems;
• knowledge of project management methods and team facilitation;
• an excellent command of French and a good knowledge of English; knowledge of Dutch is an asset;
• familiarity with integration and application development technologies, considered an advantage.
