GIS Functional / Business Analyst - Energy Network Management

As part of the development of our activities, we are looking for a specialized Functional/Business Analyst e GIS to strengthen our teams and support our customers in the implementation and evolution of their geospatial solutions (energy data visualization, mapping, etc.).

🎯 Your role:

As a GIS Functional/Business Analyst, you are the privileged interlocutor between the business and technical teams. You will contribute to the definition, analysis and implementation of solutions to effectively manage and exploit geographic data.

🎯 Your responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze and formalize business needs.

• Organize and facilitate workshops with the various stakeholders.

• Translate needs into functional specifications and user stories.

• Participate in the design of GIS solutions adapted to operational challenges.

• Ensure the functional follow-up of developments and integrations.

• Prepare and coordinate the functional testing and acceptance phases.

• Support users during production releases.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and tools.

• Collaborate with project teams, architects, developers, and subject matter experts.

We are looking for a professional who is passionate about business analysis and geographic information systems, able to understand customers' operational challenges and translate them into concrete solutions.

Your background:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Geography, Geomatics, Engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Business Analysis or Functional Analysis (MUST)

• Experience on GIS projects or involving geospatial/territorial data.

• Experience in the utilities, energy, telecommunications or infrastructure sectors is an asset.

Your skills:

• Excellent ability to analyze and model business needs.

• Good knowledge of GIS concepts and geographic data management.

• Experience with solutions such as ArcGIS, QGIS or equivalent.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

• Understanding of data flows, APIs and application integrations.

• Ease in writing functional documents.
