For the Business Banking department, we are looking for a Financing Specialist to join the Middle Office Business Loans team. Triodos Bank's Business Banking team specialises in providing credit to professionals with a positive impact on the environment, society or culture. The Middle Office Business Loans manages a portfolio of loans from clients active in various sectors (non-commercial, SME, Renewable Energy and Real Estate). The Financing Specialist is responsible for the follow-up of a portfolio of SME/non-commercial and Real Estate clients or a portfolio of clients active in Renewable Energy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Follow-up of the loan customer portfolio:

The Financing Specialist is the Business Banking contact person for a portfolio of clients.
New credit applications: writing credit applications
Follow-up of existing loans: drafting of revisions (financial analysis), collection of data relating to the societal impact of customers, rate revisions,...
To do this, the Financing Specialist is able to identify the risks, opportunities, impact and limitations of a file – in particular by carrying out financial analyses.
Drafting of sector analyses for the sectors in which Triodos Bank Belgium is active.

Application and improvement of credit processes:

Ensure that credit procedures are clear and that they are applied within the credit department.
Formulate proposals for improvement of monitoring and lending processes and implement them (process improvement).

Profile

You have a master's degree (finance, economics or law)
Ideally, you have relevant professional experience in credit activities or one of our sectors of activity (renewable energy, culture, social, non-profit, SME,...).
You want to contribute to the management and development of a loan portfolio for sustainable companies and organisations.
You have both an analytical and commercial profile
You are analytically minded and able to present your analyses succinctly.
You are sensitive to risk and are able to deal with business and financial issues.
You are willing to take clear points of view, with strong arguments.
You are able to take initiative and manage a multitude of tasks.
You can easily adapt to different clients and the scope of the cases.
You are a team player, flexible and adaptable.
You have excellent knowledge and writing skills in Dutch, French and English.
