Job description

Happy Hours Market is the application that allows all Brussels residents to save money on their shopping, while fighting against food waste.

How does it work? Every day, we collect unsold goods from mass distribution players (supermarkets, wholesalers, brands) to make them available at reduced prices on our application.

And for that, we need you! 💪

As an Events & Sponsorship Intern at Happy Hours Market, you will be responsible for setting up strategic partnerships to develop our presence and visibility in Brussels, and organizing events to build customer loyalty and future ambassadors.

👉 Your missions:

Increase our visibility and new customer acquisition:

  • Manage external sponsorship requests for events in Brussels

  • Canvassing and setting up partnerships with cultural, educational and associative actors in Brussels 🤝

  • Setting up collaborations with local shops, associations, student residences, and other local actors around our collection points

Improve our customer retention and build community loyalty:

  • Organize events at the collection point (customer meetings, product tastings, games and products to win, communication on new products, etc.)

  • Be on-site when launching new pick-up locations to coordinate marketing activities and ensure successful implementation

  • Assist the Communication team in the organization of events to retain our community of ambassadors 🎉

  • Assist the Communication/Marketing team during Field Marketing actions (distribution of flyers, shock actions, etc.)

Profile

🤩 About you

  • You have a natural ability to communicate and interact with diverse communities.

  • You have a proactive attitude and an interest in fieldwork.

  • You have proven project management skills to ensure the effective coordination of offline marketing activities.

  • You know how to work independently while working closely with the marketing team.

  • You are comfortable in communication and you know how to work in a team

  • You are autonomous, organized and creative

  • You have a strong ability to establish and maintain strategic partnerships

  • You are a source of proposals and like to analyze your actions to improve results
