Network Manager
Job description
You will join the " Networks " department of the Department of Information and Systems. This department, composed of 10 people, is in charge of the design, implementation and operational monitoring of the Institution's computer networks.
Your main missions are :
- Management of the Clinics' IT network services: operational monitoring and technological evolution. Specifically, the management of DNS, DHCP, Proxy (Forward and Reverse), Load-Balancers, VPN and WAF services.
- Optimization and Observability: Analysis of flows, troubleshooting of latency issues, and implementation of monitoring dashboards to anticipate incidents.
- Security: Enforce SSL/TLS termination policies, manage certificates, and harden application access layers.
- Management of technical projects related to the network (proposal of solutions, analysis of needs and technical solutions as well as their implementation)
- Installation and configuration of active elements (load balancers, proxies, ...)
- Monitoring of operational documentation; development and drafting of procedures and their maintenance.
- Advice and participation in external projects on network and cybersecurity aspects,
- Contacts with suppliers, follow-up of offers and orders.
- Support in the event of complex technical incidents or problems.
Profile
- You have a university degree, ideally in the field of computer science
- You have in-depth knowledge of network technologies and have proven experience in this field. Excellent knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, TLS).
- You also have experience in configuring network services (DNS, DHCP, Proxy, Load-Balancers, VPN, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of CITRIX tools (ADC, Secure Access) is a plus.
- Proficiency or experience with SQUID (Web Proxy) technology is an asset.
- You are sensitive to security concepts and experience with security tools (Firewall, Proxy, Sniffer, etc.).
- A strong appetite for Infrastructure as Code. You are comfortable with scripting/programming languages to automate your daily tasks.
- You understand the challenges of high availability and performance. You are looking to reduce the "toil" (repetitive manual tasks) through automation
- Proven experience in critical environments where controlling traffic flow is crucial.
