For Baron Lambert's Mobile Team located in Etterbeek

A multi-skilled nurse (m/f/x)

For a full-time permanent contract (38 hours/week)

What does the job consist of?

As a nurse in consultation, you work closely with the doctor to ensure that examinations and treatments run smoothly. You will be responsible for the preparation, performance and follow-up of care and medico-technical procedures, while constantly ensuring the comfort and safety of the patient.

On a daily basis, your role is based on a variety of missions:

·        Welcoming patients and their loved ones, accompanying them and reassuring them throughout their journey

·        Perform routine care: dressings, infusions, casts, samples

·        Carry out certain examinations or treatments independently according to the protocols in force

·        Assist the doctor during technical procedures and prepare equipment and consultation rooms

·        Ensure the storage, cleaning and disinfection of equipment and spaces after care

Your role is not limited to technical gestures. You will also contribute to the quality and continuity of care:

·        Observe the state of health of patients and identify any difficulties

·        React quickly when intervention is needed

·        Explain the course of the examinations and the follow-up to the treatment, in collaboration with the doctor

·        Ensure the transmission of information between the various stakeholders

·        Refer patients to appropriate services when necessary

Finally, you actively participate in the proper functioning of the service:

·        Manage administrative aspects (prepare offices, ensure their order)

·        Ensure the maintenance and proper functioning of the equipment

·        Participate in quality and radiation protection controls

·        Supporting new colleagues and students in their integration

Your environment and your team

You will work in a varied and dynamic environment, at the heart of consultations, in close collaboration with doctors, nurses and the multidisciplinary team.

The organization of a mobile team allows you to intervene in different contexts and to develop real versatility. You will be required to adapt to the needs of the consultations and the specificities of the examinations performed.

A coordinator is present on site to ensure the day-to-day management and to provide support to the team. She also ensures the link with the head of the polyclinic. As such, it is responsible for reporting any malfunctions and making the remarks or observations necessary for the proper functioning of the service

Your education

·        You hold a Bachelor's degree in nursing, approved and registered by the Brabant Medical Commission

Your experience and knowledge

·        You have a first experience in a hospital environment.

·        Your computer knowledge allows you to ensure optimal follow-up of files.

·        You have a good knowledge of Dutch: You are able to understand the patient's needs and communicate with your colleagues

Your skills:

·        Your sense of contact and your ability to put patients at ease.

·        Your listening and communication adapted to patients, relatives and health professionals.

·        Your ability to work collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

·        Your autonomy in carrying out the care and acts entrusted to you.

·        Your ability to observe, analyze a situation and react quickly in case of difficulty.

·        Your rigor, especially in compliance with protocols, hygiene and safety.

·        Your adaptability and versatility, which are essential in a mobile and diverse environment.

We offer you:

·        Type of contract: Permanent contract

·        Working time: 100% (38 hours / week)

·        Opening hours: Monday to Friday (no weekends or public holidays), hours between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Remuneration based on IFIC scales, with seniority resumption

·      Min: cat 14 = €3379.86 (index: 2.1647) or cat 14b = €3124.92 (index: 2.1647)

·        Max: cat 14 = €5339.19 (index: 2.1647) or cat 14b = €4755.06 (index: 2.1647)
