Medical Laboratory Technician (M/F/X)

✨ As a Medical Laboratory Technician specialized in Electrophysiology, you play a key role in organizing and performing various examinations.

The EEG technician performs electroencephalographic (EEG) recordings for patients hospitalized in pediatric inpatient units or in the emergency room.

In addition to performing these supplementary examinations, the technician participates in the maintenance of acquisition and storage equipment, as well as the organization of inpatient appointments. 

The objective of the position is to continue developing the clinical neurophysiology activity.

🎯Main activities: 

• Performing prolonged video-EEG examinations in pediatric inpatient units and the emergency room.
• Participating in the maintenance of acquisition and reading equipment.
• Participating in the maintenance and management of acquisition databases.
• Participating in the organization of hospital stays dedicated to prolonged video-EEG recordings.

🎓Required qualifications and experience :

• Laboratory technician, nurse, or physiotherapist
   

🚀 Essential skills :

• Good contact with patients (especially children, some of whom have disabilities)
• Comfortable with IT tools
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to unexpected situations
• Organized, meticulous, and conscientious
• Very good knowledge of French 
   

✨ Additional assets :

• Speaking a language other than French
• Experience in clinical or experimental neurophysiology
