Sales Manager

Permanent
Brussels

Job description

Since 1829, seven generations of the same family have been handcrafting biscuits and waffles in our Brussels workshops – with the same high standards, and a renewed ambition: to make food craftsmanship a fair and sustainable model. Certified B Corp, Maison Dandoy sources locally, evolves towards organic and regenerative raw materials, and measures its success as much by its commitments as by its results.

As part of our business development, we are looking for a Sales Manager to manage and develop our B2B channels in Belgium, France and Luxembourg, take charge of the Travel and Pop-Up channels, and deploy the brand's outreach strategy around our stores. A role of development, negotiation and representation — at the service of a house with character.

Your mission:

To make Maison Dandoy a desired reference in premium B2B channels — not just another supplier in a catalog. You build lasting relationships, select the right partners, and make the brand shine far beyond our stores.

What you will do :(concretely):

01. Developing B2B channels — BE, FR, LU

Prospecting, convincing, installing — and building a network that lasts.

  • Develop reseller, wholesale and corporate channels in the Belgium, France and Luxembourg area

  • Identify new opportunities and build a sustainable portfolio

  • Negotiate, close and monitor the customer relationship over the long term

  • Ensuring brand consistency and selectivity of the distribution network

02. Manage corporate offers from A to Z

Customers who trust us with their most important moments — that's a responsibility.

  • Qualify incoming requests and develop offers related to the workshop and logistics

  • Negotiate, close and ensure invoicing

  • Coordinate customization and corporate gifting requests

  • Ensure a rigorous CRM update (Odoo)

03. Spreading the influence around our stores

Each store is the beacon of an ecosystem — it's up to you to light it up.

  • Develop the points of contact and sale around each store (selective resellers, local partners)

  • Make each store the heart of a premium and coherent distribution network

  • Ensure selectivity and brand alignment in every partnership

  • Select reseller partners according to criteria of alignment of values — quality, locality, consistency with the B Corp identity of the House

  • To contribute to building a distribution network that reflects Maison Dandoy's commitments, not just its reputation

04. Get started with Travel & Pop-Up channels

Two B2C channels with high potential — with strong seasonality and visibility issues.

  • Driving the development of travel retail (train stations, Brussels Airport)

  • Manage the sales teams during Pop-Up operations (November–December)

  • Ensure commercial performance and customer experience on these channels

05. Analyze, manage, improve

A good salesperson is also someone who knows how to read his figures.

  • Analyze sales performance by channel and zone

  • Contribute to business strategy and development decisions

  • Identify and propose improvements to business and operational processes

06. Carry Dandoy's commitments into the commercial relationship

The brand you're selling isn't just a product — it's a way of doing things.

  • Embodying and transmitting B Corp values, the bio-regenerative transition and artisanal anchoring in every negotiation and partner relationship

  • Train and raise awareness among partners' purchasing and sales teams about the history of products, raw materials and producers

  • Contribute to business impact reporting related to ESG and B Corp commitments (aligned network share, selection criteria, portfolio evolution)

  • Alert management if a business opportunity comes into tension with the House's commitments

Profile

  • Proven experience (3–5 years) in B2B business development, ideally in the premium sector or agri-food

  • Strong negotiation skills and mastery of the full sales cycle

  • Comfortable with CRM tools (Odoo or equivalent)

  • Languages: fluent French — Dutch and English are an asset in our area and our international clientele

  • You naturally collaborate with the workshop, logistics, management

  • You adapt your speech according to the interlocutor: buyer, HR manager, store manager

  • You will federate the sales teams during Pop-Up operations

You are autonomous and results-oriented:

  • You manage your own channels, without waiting to be told what to do

  • Initiative, sense of priority, ability to make decisions

  • You are comfortable with regular travel in the BE / FR / LU area

  • Strategic vision: influence, selectivity of the network, profitability

You share our commitments:

  • You understand what an artisan house with a history and strong values represents

  • You know that network selectivity is not a commercial constraint — it's what protects the brand and its commitments

  • You're able to explain concretely what B Corp certification is, the transition to bio-regenerative ingredients, and sourcing local — not as a pitch, but because you believe in it

  • You recognize yourself in the three E's of the House: Commitment, Excellence, Team Spirit

What you'll find with us:

  • An exceptional product for sale — 100% natural, handmade, with a history of almost two centuries

  • A real game area: three countries, diversified channels, strong autonomy

  • A sincere B Corp anchorage, which gives meaning to each business partnership

  • A house on a human scale, where your results are visible and your ideas listened to

  • Committed teams, in the workshop and in the shop, proud of what they produce

  • The ability to build something — not just manage an existing portfolio
