Job description
Got a strong stomach? ❤️ Working in cardiac intensive care is thrilling! Get ready to provide care at a precise pace, for every heartbeat in jeopardy. 🩺
The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Service (Cardiac Intensive Care Unit) of the Clinics has the mission of taking care of all patients of the Cardiovascular Institute who require particularly close monitoring and potential immediate therapeutic interventions. 🚨 Patients whose health status requires intensive treatments administered under close supervision are also cared for in this service.
🏥 The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Service comprises 2 units, representing 24 resuscitation beds.
The CVI2 (12 beds) is a mixed unit combining surgery and medicine, primarily welcoming non-operated and operated cardiac patients who require intensive care:
- patients presenting with acute coronary syndrome (acute myocardial infarction, unstable angina) 💉
- patients who have undergone thoracic surgery such as a lobectomy, coronary artery bypass graft, or valve surgery
- patients requiring cardiac support (such as ECMO, Heartmate, external pacemaker, CVVH dialysis, etc.)
- patients who have undergone a heart transplant
- patients who have suffered an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest
- patients suffering from heart failure decompensation or severe cardiac rhythm disorders ⚡
Thanks to close collaboration with the other departments of the Cardiovascular Institute, it can guarantee access to the most innovative treatments best suited to each patient's condition.
Join us 💪 and together, let's care for our patients one heartbeat at a time! ❤️
