
ICT Support Expert (4/5th or TP)
Job description
The ICT Support Expert is responsible for the management of Pro Velo's fleet, content and IT network. He/she provides the office and IT support essential to the achievement of the non-profit organisation's mission. 💻✨
👉 The tasks performed by the ICT Support Expert are as follows:
Computer maintenance of a hundred workstations, including updating, inventorying, troubleshooting and end-of-life management of equipment (4 hours/week).
General IT support to the Pro Velo team (15 hours/week). 👌
Maintenance in operational condition of a computer network consisting of (4 hours/week):
9 local area networks (LANs)
connected to each other by an inter-site VPN infrastructure
on-premises authentication (Active Directory – Windows Server), application (Windows Server), and file (Synology) servers
application servers (Linux) hosted on external dedicated servers (Proxmox)
Management of the purchase of computer equipment, the deployment of new computers and their adaptation to the needs of new colleagues (1 hour/week).
License management (10 hours/year).
Advice in terms of IT and office automation policy (2 hours/month).
Assistance in the follow-up of projects with an IT component (1 day/month).
Contact person for the various IT service providers (1 hour/week).
Technology watch (2 hours/week).
Management and support of the telephone infrastructure (VoIP) (2 hours/week).
Development of documentation and procedures (3 hours/week). 📝
Training of Pro Velo workers in the computer tools used (3 days/month).
AllIT maintenance tasks necessary for the smooth running of the non-profit organisation.
The working hours are given as an indication.
Profile
💻 IT skills:
Windows administration, including Windows Server (Active Directory, GPO)
Linux server administration (Ubuntu, LAMP, Nextcloud)
Wi-Fi Access Point Management (Unifi)
Backup management: Borg backup, Synology Hyper Backup
Knowledge of Synology's Proxmox and Virtual Machine Manager virtualization platforms
Basics of using Docker
ERP knowledge (Odoo)
Network skills: basic knowledge of network management (routing, firewalling, switching – Mikrotik)
Simple scripting (bash, powershell).

Ability to independently appropriate a technology and search for information in technical documentation.
Ability to popularize technical information.
Availability, easy contact and team spirit. 🤝
Analytical skills and ability to structure information.
Autonomy, organization and sense of priorities. 📆
Sufficient knowledge of Dutch to provide support to the 5 Dutch-speaking colleagues of the non-profit organisation.
Ready to move to the 6 different Pro Velo locations.
Flexibility in terms of schedules : be ready to do some evening services (updates) and help colleagues who call for (rare) emergencies outside of working hours.
Concerned by active mobility and environmental issues. 🌱
Nice to have : affinities with free software.
