Job description

The main objective of the position is to support the volunteer teams in order to achieve sales objectives in the Oxfam network of stores around the world. 🌱
The person in charge of this function is part of a team of coordinators within the sales department and reports to the head of the OMDM network sales department. The Sales Coordinator will have a dual role as an expert in one of the product lines and as a sales facilitator.

👉 Missions:

  • As an expert in the craft category, you support the volunteer teams of Oxfam stores around the world (in various regions) to achieve sales targets. You propose and implement innovative business ideas and actions for your range. 👌

  • As a sales facilitator: you are in charge of a dozen volunteer teams in the province of Luxembourg, which you advise in order to achieve sales objectives in all ranges. You invest in the knowledge of the life of the team in order to establish a relationship of trust. You help them to develop strengths, overcome weaknesses, implement and analyse the results of commercial actions. 🚀

Profile

  • Ideological adherence to the political project of Oxfam-Magasins du monde 🧡

  • The desire to work professionally in the service of a volunteer movement

  • Experience in the field of facilitation, training or management of adult volunteers is desired 📣

  • A passion for craftsmanship and knowledge of the commercial realities for this range of products (trends, competition, ...)  

  • A higher commercial education (or equivalent through experience) 💼

  • Ability to work independently and in a team

  • A concrete and pragmatic spirit

  • Analytical skills and fluency with numbers

  • A good dose of creativity, enthusiasm, perseverance 🙏

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Computer fluency (including a good command of Excel)

  • Living in or near the Province of Luxembourg is an asset

  • The official place of work is the organisation's headquarters in Bierges (Wavre), whose offices are currently being moved to Louvain-La-Neuve. The position involves a large number of trips in the Province of Luxembourg and elsewhere in Wallonia (B licence and vehicle required). 🚗

  • 100% reimbursement of home/work transport costs for public transport
