You juggle numbers and look for a meaningful job, you are solution-oriented and are committed to modernizing practices to make them more efficient. As a follower of benevolent and collaborative management, you want to take the reins of a strategic department in full evolution.
With the support of a team of 3 accountants, and in collaboration with the management committee, you are responsible for the financial and accounting management of the organization. You report directly to the Director of General Services (Finance, HR, Real Estate, IT).
🚀 Main missions
Organize the team's tasks with particular attention to developing tools and processes ; finance has just migrated to Business Central and the digitization of accounting is in the works.
Establish annual and multi-annual budgets as well as budget revisions
Establish cash flow forecasts and ensure follow-up
Organize and supervise the maintenance of general accounting, inventories and accounting closings; ensure reliability and compliance
Organize the monitoring of the accounting of the store network with the support of volunteer accountants
Preparing and filing annual accounts
Participate in audits, tax and VAT audits
Support other departments in justifying the various subsidies and preparing reports
Ensure legal monitoring in order to stay abreast of the obligations of non-profit organisations and NGOs in accounting and regulatory matters and apply them
As a team manager, you will participate in extended management committees and strategic exercises; You make sure to implement these objectives in your team, which you evaluate annually.
Profile
Ideological adherence to the Oxfam-Magasins du monde 🧡 project
Interest in putting one's professional expertise at the service of a volunteer movement
Holder of a Bachelor's or Master's degree with a focus on accounting or finance, or equivalent 🎓 experience
Perfect knowledge of accounting and finance ; At least 10 years' professional experience
Excellent command of computer tools and in particular Excel ; mastery of an ERP is an asset, especially Business Central
Rigour, reliability, respect for deadlines 👌
Sense of organization and ability to work independently
Solution-oriented, interested in changing practices and ability to support change
Analytical mind, pedagogical ability to convey content
Experience in team management is an asset
