Job description

In this new full-time role, you will be the driving force behind our financial health. You are not a " salesman ," but a bridge builder who connects people and organizations to our mission. You translate our scientific and preventive objectives into concrete projects in which donors recognize themselves and want to get involved.

Your areas of responsibility:

  • Strategic Fundraising: You design an ethical and sustainable framework to ensure the structural growth of our revenues (donations, bequests and corporate donations).

  • Acquisition of new donors: You set up creative campaigns (direct mailing, digital, events) to attract new individual donors and federate them to our cause.

  • Societal partnerships: You engage with companies to establish structural collaborations in line with our values, with a focus on shared social impact.

  • Exploring new channels: You will study and test new collection methods, such as peer-to-peer  actions (e.g. charity sporting events) or innovative digital tools.

  • Conversion and Retention: You turn  a one-time gift from a new donor into a long-term relationship.

  • Management and Analysis: You manage our database carefully and accurately, so that our communication remains personalized, relevant and based on correct data.

Profile

  • Empathetic communicator: You know how to listen to a donor's motivation and strike a chord, both in a personal interview and in writing.

  • Inspiring: You speak passionately about the health sector and know how to convince your interlocutors  of the urgency of our fight.

  • Experience: You have experience in fundraising, relationship management or communication in the non-profit or healthcare sector.

  • Results-oriented: You like to achieve the growth objectives set and know how to translate numbers into impactful stories.

  • Networker: You evolve with ease in different environments, from the medical world to the corporate world.

  • Teamplayer: Team spirit is paramount in a small team, we rely heavily on each other to succeed.

  • Bilingual: You have a perfect command of French and Dutch, which is essential to carry out our national mission.

  • Organizational skills: You work independently and in a structured manner; You like to manage a project from A to Z.
