Job description

Happy Hours Market fights against food waste by repurposing unsold food from Belgian retail. In direct contact with the CTO and the Data Generalist, you will be involved in the following activities:

Develop and maintain trusted, automated data pipelines with Dagster, dbt , and BigQuery.
Consolidate and structure the data from our various processes (orders, stocks, refunds, product quality, etc.).
Design and implement interactive dashboards to track and analyze operational and financial KPIs.
Identify opportunities to improve internal processes, for example:
- Reduce refunds.
- Detect possible data errors associated with products (price too high, inconsistent quantity, etc.), product quality alerts.
Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to turn business needs into actionable analytics solutions.
Perform ad-hoc analysis for different teams across the company

Profile

Student in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
SQL and python skills
Knowledge of the following technologies is a plus (but not required): dbt, Dagster, ETL, Bigquery.
Interest in operational issues and ability to transform business needs into concrete solutions.
Autonomy, curiosity and desire to learn in a startup environment.
