Job description

We are looking for a motivated Account Manager Members who maintains long-term relationships with major members and sector organisations, so that every aspect of the collaboration is managed optimally. In this role, you will bring to life Fost Plus' ambition to strive for a circular packaging economy together with its members. 🌱 

👉 Your most important tasks:

  • You build a sustainable relationship of trust with various stakeholders in your client portfolio. These customers are leading companies that market household packaging on the Belgian market and transfer the fulfilment of their legal take-back obligation to Fost Plus.

  • You manage a wide range of responsibilities between Fost Plus and the clients in your portfolio, including:

    • Communicating Fost Plus' strategy during your various contact moments and capturing important signals from your customers.

    • Following up on the annual declaration of household packaging for your customer portfolio: timely declarations with good data quality and smooth financial settlement are part of your responsibility.

    • Guaranteeing that decision-makers  from your customer portfolio are provided with the right information about reduction, reuse, collection, sorting, recycling and packaging design; For this you will have a conversation, give an information session or organize a site visit.

    • Being available as a point of contact for your colleagues on topics where a customer from your portfolio is involved; the many internal contacts with colleagues from all other teams such as Quality & Control, Design for Recycling, Innovation, IT, Legal, Finance and Marketing & Communication are a nice plus for you.

  • Your 2 fellow Account Managers Members do the same for their client portfolio. Together, you keep a close eye on the 100 largest customers and are their central point of contact for all possible questions. You call on the expertise of your colleagues to guarantee the accuracy and consistency of your advice.

  • Because of your broad interests and your role within the organization, you have an eye for the broader picture and you make links between the various files. You help ensure coherence, so that all customers are helped with an unambiguous and coherent message.

  • After a training period, you coordinate one or more internal projects as a project manager and you are encouraged to take initiative within an organization that is constantly changing. 🚀

Profile

  • You have at least a bachelor's degree and ideally you already have relevant work experience. 🎓

  • You are fluent in bilingualism (F/N) and you also have a sufficient command of English for both oral and written communication.

  • You communicate fluently and clearly, both verbally and in writing, and at the same time you show the necessary diplomacy . You can also actively listen and engage in an open dialogue with your stakeholders, both externally and internally.

  • You can convince people by using relevant and decisive arguments to defend your point of view and you deal well with counterarguments.

  • You are proficient in Excel and you are familiar with digital applications such as reporting tools. 💻

  • You work accurately and with an analytical mind (with regard to data quality) and you have enough affinity with numbers to monitor large budgets.

  • You work in a result- and solution-oriented way; You respond proactively ; You anticipate events and problems and make proposals to improve processes and procedures.

  • You always act in a customer-oriented  manner and adapt your actions to the sensitivities, needs and wishes of your accounting, without losing sight of Fost Plus' objectives.

  • You actively contribute to collective results.
