Workshop & Event Coordinator
Job description
A workshop that brings events to life — and a team that wants things to run smoothly without spending their evenings on it. We are looking for the person who will tie together client requests, the kitchen, equipment, and administration.
Events — the core of the role
Be the point of contact for event requests, from the initial exchange to closing.
Draft quotes and drive them to completion.
Plan week after week: retroplanning, resources, unforeseen issues.
Coordinate teams and the equipment needed for each event.
Internal communication
Circulate information among the cooks — and we are not going to pretend it is always easy. You need to know how to listen, rephrase, and maintain a clear line when discussions happen.
Administration & workshop management
Inventory, invoices, orders.
Above all: organizing and digitalizing all of this. We are looking for someone who simplifies processes rather than suffers through them.
In the field (20%)
Occasional deliveries, on-site presence during events, client contact.
The role is split between 80% at the Uccle workshop office (Chaussée de Waterloo) and 20% in the field.
Profile
Someone flexible and sociable, comfortable behind a screen as well as in the kitchen or making deliveries
Minimum 3 years of experience in the Horeca sector
French and English
Driver's license (Category B)
Not afraid to take the van or carry a crate when necessary
