Program Manager - Build Program

Permanent
Brussels

Job description

Located in the heart of Brussels, the European capital, StartLAB.Brussels is the place to be for young entrepreneurs.

We guide and support young entrepreneurs from idea to realization by offering them our tools and know-how, and by leveraging our unique position within universities and Belgian entrepreneurial ecosystems.

Start.LAB.BRUSSELS is a diverse, dynamic, ambitious, and innovative community.

Our program is designed by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs from all backgrounds.

We offer two support programs: « Build » and « Grow ».

  • Build: Determine product-market fit, carry out an initial market analysis, and develop your first prototypes.

  • Grow: Refine your strategy, optimize your sales, validate your hypotheses…

Your role

We are looking for a project manager who will be responsible for the coordination, development, and continuous improvement of the « Build » program, with a focus on French-speaking entrepreneurs.

In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of operations, including:

  • Selecting new projects;

  • Coordinating and scheduling the program with the support of the other program managers;

  • Innovating and continuously improving program content to best meet the needs of entrepreneurs;

  • Ensuring quality control for training sessions and workshops.

  • Managing trainers and recruiting new ones if necessary;

  • Supporting and empowering entrepreneurs participating in the program while guaranteeing their active participation: serving as the main point of contact for entrepreneurs within the Build FR phase.

  • Acting as a business coach for projects in your cohort: you regularly organize one-on-one meetings to help founders clarify their ideas, test their hypotheses, and define concrete next steps. This support is closest and most frequent at the beginning when projects are still in the exploratory phase, before they are put in touch with dedicated coaches.

  • Creating and strengthening a sense of community among participating entrepreneurs;

  • Connecting young entrepreneurs with coaches and experts and ensuring the smooth running of these collaborations;

  • Organizing networking events and masterclasses. These may include peer learning sessions for entrepreneurs, team-building activities, or theoretical and practical sessions on entrepreneurship-related topics. You will be fully responsible for these sessions, from defining content and finding speakers to managing event communication and supervising organization on the day.

  • Ensuring administrative follow-up for projects supported by StartLab.Brussels, including data entry, document management, and regular updating of project information in our internal tools. Keep accurate and up-to-date files for each project throughout its incubation journey, ensuring information is well organized, accessible, and subject to reliable monitoring.

Your mission is to help as many entrepreneurs as possible test their ideas and find their start-up's first product-market fit.

Alongside the rest of the team, you will be required to:

  • Contribute to maintaining and strengthening close ties with the Brussels and broader Belgian entrepreneurial ecosystem, and in particular with the various LAB partners;

  • Organize and participate in events aimed at raising awareness of the LAB among young people;
